Hello and welcome to my website. My name is Darla Parks and I have been married to Bill for 26 years! I have the most beautiful daughter in the world, Jennifer, who lives in Texas with her husband, Steven, along with their handsome and athletic sons, Austin and Mason. I am a very proud Nana indeed! We also have a crazy parrot named Buffett as in Jimmy Buffet. And he has earned his title!
Creativity has always flowed through my veins and sewing has been an integral part of my life for as long as I can remember. I had a drapery and Blind business when we lived in Canada, but it didn’t take long for me to become addicted to longarm quilting. I bought my first machine in 2002 and never looked back.
My studio here in Cape Coral, Florida features many of my prize-winning quilts as well as three long arm machines — 2 Statler Stitcher Optimums and a Vision 2- 22. Currently I quilt for people all over the United States.
My quilts have won both locally and on the National level. Many of my quilts travel more than I do to Quilt Shows across the Country!
If you were to ask me what my biggest talent is, however, I would say it was teaching. It is my passion. I will travel to teach, I will teach in your home, I will teach you in my home. (Like Dr. Seuss, In a house or with a mouse? In a boat or with a goat? On a train or in a tree?)

Custom Orders
I am a Longarm quilting service. I do custom quilting as well as edge to edge. I have a two week turn around time on my edge to edge quilting service, with hundreds of patterns to choose from. I do quilt consultations by appointment only.
I also am a Sales Representative for Gammill/Statler Quilting Machines
